Workshop Presenter   Dr. Herbert J. Tannenbaum, a licensed psychologist since 1975, received his Ph. D. from New York University and is a fellow of the American Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. He is a member of the Council for National Registry of Health Service Providers in Psychology. Herb is a graduate of the Clinical Training Program, the Workshop Presenter Program and the Clinical Instrusctor Program of The Institute for Imago Relationship Therapy. Currently, Herb is the Executive Clinical Director of the Center for Effective Living, a private comprehensive mental health facility in River Edge, New Jersey. In addition to his private practice and Directorship, he presents the Imago "Getting the Love You Want" couples workshops. He partners with Gene Shelly and/or Nedra Fetterman as a Clinical Instructor in teaching the Basic Clinical Training course (#200). Herb also teaches a variety of Advanced Training courses and is best known for his presentation on "Self Hatred." Herb conducts several Consultation Groups in the NYC / NJ area. He is known for is keen clinical insights and ability to crystallize complex phenomenon into clear statements as well as for his quick wit.
